Tower Gardens Community Corner

Tower Gardens Community Corner was initially formed as a constituted group of Tower Gardens residents campaigning for a community space on Tower Gardens Estate, it is now an incorporated community interest company (CIC).

While being a CIC allows us to enter into contracts, and guarantees that all building assets and surpluses are used for the public good, the group is reviewing what structure will provide the best legal and financial framework to own property, run a social enterprise, ensure estate buildings are permanently protected for community benefit, and ensure democratic decision making.

The group meets regularly to push forward the discussion with the council, fundraising, and other topics. Reach out if you’d like to join in.
